Open Studios

This year's open studios at 44AD in Bath was very successful. I sold quite a few paintings and a few illustrations from my days as a children's writer and illustrator. All have gone to good homes, so I'm very pleased.

The sales inspired to put out a couple of children's stories featuring an eight-year-old chef called Victoria McSpunj and her trusty sidekick and washer-upper, Barry the spotty piglet. We'll see how they cope!

I decided I should add another page to the website. So you'll find some illustrations I did some time ago for Barefoot Books. The books in question were The Emperor Who Hated Yellow and The Emperor Who Forgot His Birthday.

I hope to update this blog more frequently, but who knows. Too many other exciting things to do.
